The route

The A40 to Cluses, then 12 km up to the pass.

From Geneva Airport we cross into France and take the A40 motorway to Cluses. The D902 then runs through Taninges and climbs about 12 km to the Col des Gets — and the village sits right on the pass, at 1,172 m.

Les Gets is the first Portes du Soleil resort on this road, before Morzine, which keeps the transfer one of the shortest from Geneva.

More than 19? We run several minibuses in convoy, or a coach up to 50 seats on request.

On the ground

A village on the pass.

Two ski sides

The village sits between Mont Chéry on one side and Les Chavannes on the other, and is linked on skis with Morzine, sharing around 120 km of pistes within the Portes du Soleil.

Give us the chalet name

Chalets spread up both sides of the pass and into the hamlets; the exact address lets the driver take the right lane up first time.

Winter equipment

Snow tyres, or chains carried on board, are compulsory in French mountain areas from 1 November to 31 March. Our vehicles are equipped for it.

Weekend traffic

On peak changeover weekends the motorway towards Cluses gets busy. Allow extra time, or travel outside the Saturday rush if your dates allow.

The other options

Train, coach or a minibus of your own.

Train to Cluses

Cluses is the nearest station, about 22 km away, with buses up to the village. With a group and skis, that is a train change and a bus after the flight.

Scheduled coach from Geneva

In winter, coach and shuttle services run from Geneva Airport to Les Gets. They suit one or two travellers; for a full chalet you share the timetable and the stops.

A private minibus

It leaves when your group has landed, goes straight to your address, and costs the same whether you are 8 or 16 — which is why, for a whole chalet, it often works out close to the per-seat price of shared transport.

Flight running late?

Add your flight number at booking: the driver plans the pick-up around your actual landing time rather than the timetable.
