The route

Up through the Mittelland, to Basel.

We leave Geneva Airport on the A1, pass Lausanne and the Jura foothills, cross the Bernese plateau and head north on the A2. The valley opens one last time before the Rhine and the tri-border city.

Business travel

Route FAQ

Asked about this route.

Can you drop at EuroAirport or the French side?

Yes — BSL/MLH and any address on the French or German side is standard, no border surcharge.

How early should I leave Geneva?

For a lunchtime arrival, morning pickup is comfortable. In heavy traffic or weather, we advise adding 30–45 minutes — we’ll flag it at booking.

Can we stop for food on the way?

Of course. A stop in Bern or at a Mittelland rest area is easy. Under 30 minutes is at no extra charge.

Do you operate in blizzard conditions?

We follow cantonal advice. Should the A1 close, we re-route via Pontarlier or postpone free of charge.
