Mercedes V-Class
1–7 passengers · families and small chalets
A private minibus for the whole party, from the arrivals hall at Geneva to the arrival area of car-free Avoriaz: up to 19 people with their skis, one fixed price per vehicle, agreed before you fly.
From Geneva Airport we cross into France and take the A40 to Cluses, then the D902 over the Col des Gets to Morzine (the route via Thonon and the Vallée d'Aulps is the alternative). From Morzine the road runs flat to Les Prodains, then climbs in hairpins — about 14 km in all — to the resort at 1,800 m.
Avoriaz was built car-free from the start, in 1966: the road ends at the arrival area by the reception, and that is where every vehicle stops.
Fixed prices per vehicle, one way, tolls and VAT included, from our booking engine on 8 October 2026; the live quote for your exact address may differ slightly. Card payments carry a 3.5 % fee; on a V-Class return booked together, 10 % comes off the total.

1–19 passengers · 19 bags · groups and ski clubs
More than 19? We run several minibuses in convoy, or a coach up to 50 seats on request.
Vehicles stop at the arrival area by the resort reception, where there are unloading docks next to the welcome desk. We unload the whole group and its kit there.
In-resort transport is arranged at the welcome desk — snow vehicles and luggage sledges carry people and bags to the residences. Check in at the reception first.
The Prodains Express cable car climbs from the valley floor at Les Prodains to Avoriaz in about four minutes, an alternative way up for part of a group.
Avoriaz is at the heart of the Portes du Soleil, linked to Morzine and, over the Pas de Chavanette — the famous Swiss Wall — to Champéry and the Swiss side.
Avoriaz has no station; the nearest are Cluses and Thonon-les-Bains, with buses up the valley. With a group and skis, that is several changes before the arrival area.
In winter, shuttle services run from Geneva Airport to the Portes du Soleil and Avoriaz. They suit one or two travellers; for a full chalet you share the timetable and the stops.
It leaves when your group has landed, goes straight to your address, and costs the same whether you are 8 or 16 — which is why, for a whole chalet, it often works out close to the per-seat price of shared transport.
Add your flight number at booking: the driver plans the pick-up around your actual landing time rather than the timetable.
CHF 560 one way in a Mercedes V-Class for up to 7 passengers, or CHF 850 in a Mercedes Sprinter for up to 19. The price is per vehicle, tolls and VAT included; card payments add 3.5 %.
About 1 h 49 for roughly 106 km by motorway in normal traffic; allow more on peak changeover Saturdays.
Yes. The Sprinter seats up to 19 passengers with up to 19 bags. Tell us how many ski bags and boot bags you carry when you book, so we send the right configuration.
No vehicle can — the resort is car-free. We drop the group and the luggage at the arrival area by the reception, where in-resort transport takes you to the residence.
Avoriaz is in France, so the route crosses the Swiss–French border. Every passenger, children included, should carry a valid passport or national ID card.
Yes, both are on the way up. They have their own pages with their own prices.
