Local notes

Good to know for Zurich.

Zurich traffic

Weekday rush is 07–09 and 16–19. We plan around it, or re-route via the A4 when it pays off.

Winter conditions

November through April, every vehicle runs studded winter tyres and carries chains. We follow the live MeteoSwiss feed.

Best pickup times

Arrivals outside the 07–09 / 16–19 rush avoid motorway congestion. We’ll flag any busy window when you book.

Luggage & bikes

Up to 19 cases in the Sprinter. Bike and ski racks on request at booking — no extra charge.

Route FAQ

Asked about this route.

Can you drop at ZRH airport and at my hotel?

Yes — split drop-offs within Zurich city are standard, no extra fee.

How early should I leave Geneva?

For a lunchtime arrival, morning pickup is comfortable. In heavy traffic or weather, we advise adding 30–45 minutes — we’ll flag it at booking.

Can we stop for food on the way?

Of course. A stop in Bern Old Town or at a Mittelland rest area is easy. Under 30 minutes is at no extra charge.

Do you operate in blizzard conditions?

We follow cantonal advice and live MeteoSwiss data. Should the A1 close, we re-route via A3 or postpone free of charge.
